Hello, my name is Rick McDaniel and I am a UX/UI Designer and Front End Developer in San Francisco, California.

In 2016, I began my creative entrepreneurial journey and evolved my skills into becoming a creative professional. Over the past four-plus years, I developed my background in design and visual media. I'm inspired by a need to understand my audiences, generate engagement with their emotions, and drive actions in a digital media and product user experience. 

In 2018, I designed and developed a media website named ScotchParlor.com, which remains today as a media website that shares stories around inspiring people through various media mediums - podcasting, videography, photography, and blogging.

I'm a proud believer in self-teaching, learning, and adapting. All of my ventures, jobs, completed educational programs, and life’s adventures led me to what I love doing, and that's designing and developing enjoyable product user experiences.

I have a UI/UX Certification from Springboard, a Web Development Certification from Thinkful and a Financial Degree from San Francisco State.
